but who is he really?
mix-o-freak is an author, the "father" of bloodstone manor, a comic that he spent several years writing before finding an artist to create it with him. he is also the writer for question reality (r?) and powerless. he is currently twenty years old and lives in one of the coldest places known to man: minnesota.
he is a geek (not a nerd!) and proud of it! he coded the entire site for bloodstone manor (http://bloodstonemanor.co.nr) and keeps it up and running. he reads comic books, manga, graphic novels, novles, short stories, poetry, various help books, cookbooks, and of course, webcomics. he enjoys an enormous variety of music, but sorely his wallet is too small to purchase a lot, so he mostly listens to the radio and free music on the web, including bands such as Machinae Supremacy. he is currently between his freshman and sophomore years at college as an english writing major.

question reality (r?)
this is a another new comic i'm working on, this one with gerardo (gerar) gonzolez, and no, he's not a member here either. i'm writing the story, doing touch-ups, coloring and lettering, and he's penciling and inking the pages. we're hosting it at a site i bought, tehcomix.com. the site is under construction, but i'm just posting a few preview/teaser pics to whet your appetites until the site is up. this comic is a piece of meta-referential meta-fiction i've been wanting to do for a while. basically, the main characters refer to the fact that their lives seem like they live in a comic, and later when they learn they actually do, they try to use the system for their own purposes. along the way there'll be comedy, drama, and all that other good stuff.

hmm... darn, honestly I'm not sure if that's something I really want to change on the site... well..... maybe... if it becomes a problem for people I guess I'll have to. I was hoping to just have it so that it would put title-caps on anything that shows up in the breadcrumbs and the heading... is that bad? hmmm... Okay, I guess I should probably change that. |
