David Friedman, creator and owner of the completely self-indulgent comic "Shades of Grey," is self-described as tall, dork, and handsome. His artistic talents are more diverse than developed and tend to center around manipulation of ink and paper, gravity, fire, and other people's bodies. He writes in the third person only when it is expected. David is currently doing very well in a law school that continues to be ranked among the best in the United States in spite of the dubious admissions decisions that allowed him to enroll. David is committed to the general area of business law, primarily the protection of ideas and self-expression through Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, in many of the ways others are committed to places with padded rooms and mandatory drug use. The "Shades of Grey" comic was started in 2000 as a means of self-expression. The name is derived from the author's personal philosophy that all opinions and beliefs fall on a continuum: nothing is black-and-white; there are only shades of grey. People have printed Shades of Grey artwork in magazines and a newspaper, on shirts, posters, the Internet, and cake. Please feel free to post comments about the comic in the Shades of Grey forum, and compliment Andrew Jarvis for his exemplary work on Cloven Hand. Thank you for reading.
